Alta Vista Wines was founded in 1997 by the Count Patrick d’Aulan, heir of more than 250 years of family tradition in the winemaking industry. Seeking the best regions, his strong and enterprising spirit took him to explore Los Andes mountains. He discovered there an exceptional terroir, and gathered a passionate team, all sharing the same dream: To achieve the fullest expression of Argentinean wines and French savoir-faire.
It is a winery that preserves its traditional architecture of the 19th century, where in mid-90's the technology and production area was completely renovated. During this process of modernization and remodeling, the winery increase its capacity, having today more than 90 cubic concrete tanks with different capacities, 72 stainless steel tanks of various shapes and sizes, 3 spherical concrete Galileo tanks of 23 y 30 hl, refrigerators equipment, pneumatic presses, strippers, filters and pumps, all the latest technology.
Today we can say that Alta Vista Wines has the latest technology, we produce our wines with avant garde technology, given that throughout history we have been pioneers in the industry.
In fact, Alta Vista was the first winery in adding a grape selection table in Mendoza, which allowed us to get an excellent product in 1998, difficult year in terms of production due to the natural phenomenon called “El Niño”.
Since our first harvest, in 1998, our goal has been to produce authentic wines and to raise brand experience. We are focused on underlining details, highlighting places, sharing results, and celebrating our passionate team’s achievements.
The expertise and passion of the team, is reflected in a fusión of French and Argentine cultures.
